Facilities

You will find the following in the building:

• A basic, but fully equipped, kitchen containing:

  • • Microwave

    • Cooker

    • Small fridge with freezer compartment

    • Crockery - dinner and side plates, bowls, mugs, cups and saucers

    • Glassware - wine glasses, beer glasses, jugs

    • Cutlery

    • Kitchen utensils

    • Pots and pans

    • Kettles

    • Large urn for hot water

Hot water for washing up and cleaning is provided by an electric water heater

• There storage heaters for background warmth and wall mounted, infra-red heaters to be used during the colder months.  These work off a coin operated meter that requires £1 coins;  the amount of time £1 last for depends on the number of heaters used - there are four which are all operated individually by switches above the meters

• There are 14 folding tables and ?? upholstered chairs plus 4 upholstered benches

• Ladies and Gents toilet facilities plus an accessible toilet

Parking

Parking permits for use in the small carpark at the top of the High Street (opposite the community shop) are available from the Bookings Secretary on request.  The Trustees request that all hirers make use of these as the High Street is narrow and some residents have to park their vehicles on the street.  Too many other vehicles
